We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a bespoke Construction Consultancy specialising in Planning Advisory, Cost Management and Project Management services. Our client is currently expanding to accommodate their workload and need a proficient, confident Senior Quantity Surveyor to integrate into their growing team.

This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cheshire with like-minded individuals to work on a range of exciting projects across the Residential, Education, Healthcare, Leisure and Commercial sectors. The owners of this business created a Consultancy where they can deliver successful projects, as well as continuously develop and collaborate with their employees to create the best place for people to work.
  
The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of projects within the correct timescale and budget. Some of these projects include the chance to work on luxury Residential and Commercial plots and complex care facilities within the Healthcare sector. You should be confident in cost plans, contract administration, valuations and negotiating contracts.

The ideal candidate will be a Quantity Surveyor with Consultancy experience looking for their next step, or a Senior Quantity Surveyor who has recently been in the role looking for a new challenge. You will be reporting into the Directors and must be comfortable with working in and managing a team, whilst being committed to play an essential role within the organisation.  Requirements

  • Previous experience within a Construction Consultancy

  • Experience in Commercial, Residential, Leisure or Healthcare Sectors.

  • Strong Commercial expertise.

  • Proficient in Contract Management, Valuations and Feasibility studies.

  • Ability to confidently negotiate contract terms.

  • Degree educated preferably BSC Hons/MA in Quantity Surveying or Project Management.

  • A full UK Driving license.

  • Chartership not essential but preferred.
