Head of Engineering, Residential Developer, £65K- £85K DOE + Benefits

An exciting new position has come on the market for a Head of Engineering professional to join a leading Residential Developer in the North West!

Our client has put as much emphasis on exceptional customer service, as they do in providing high quality residences. Since first launching over a decade ago, they have created a city living experience like no other.

The purpose of this Head of Engineering role is to drive optimal performance of and maintain the highest standard of accommodation for all their consumers. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers across the entire estate, whilst strategizing with the Head of Estates to ensure projects are designed, managed and completed to an exceptional quality.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to;

-          Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing mentorship and support to heighten their professional growth and development.

-          Ensure buildings are operating effectively 365 days per year through diligent management of systems, contractors and supply chain.

-          Manage all jobs through an effective SLA process ensuring limited down time of all assets.

-          Establish process and procedures for maintenance activities across all sites.

-          Oversee planning and execution of engineering projects, adhering to time-frames.

-          Adhere to legislative compliance obligations (Health & Safety and Environmental)

-          Ensure the maintenance of work/inspections and testing schedules; standard operating procedures for all maintenance works, inspection and testing of plant, equipment, tools, facilities and vehicles.

-          Co-ordinate CAPEX works to determine design detail specification and estimates.

-          Create annual training calendar for all engineers.

-          Support and coordinate the wider facilities projects following long term strategic plans as directed by the Operations director.

The ideal candidate is likely to be from a Building Services Engineering background and have demonstrable experience in strategic leadership and management.
