🌟 About the Role

This is more than just a finance role—it’s a strategic leadership position with a direct impact on the organisation’s future. You’ll lead a small finance team, bring structure to complexity, and act as a trusted partner to the CEO and Board. You’ll also take on CFO-level responsibilities, with a clear progression path to step into that role as the organisation grows.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small, dedicated finance team

• Oversee all financial operations, reporting, and compliance

• Deliver strategic insight and financial guidance to the CEO and Board

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

• Strengthen financial systems, controls, and processes

• Support funding bids, investment readiness, and stakeholder reporting

• Contribute to organisation-wide strategy and transformation

• Champion financial sustainability and social impact

✅ What You’ll Bring

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification - although this is not essential, we’re keen to talk to people with experience!

• Experience in a senior finance role, ideally in a growing or purpose-driven organisation

• Strong technical finance skills and commercial acumen

• A collaborative leadership style with a hands-on approach

• Experience managing small teams and mentoring others

• A genuine passion for social impact and community transformation
