Senior Quantity Surveyor Manchester Construction Consultancy £45-£50K

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a bespoke Construction Consultancy specialising in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying and Independent Monitoring Surveying.

Our client is currently expanding to accommodate their workload and need a proficient, confident Senior Quantity Surveyor to integrate into their growing team.

This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Manchester team, working with like-minded individuals across of range of sectors from Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure and more! The owners of this business created a Consultancy where they can deliver successful projects, as well as continuously develop and collaborate with their employees to create the best place for people to work.

The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of projects within the correct timescale and budget. Some of the projects include the chance to work on some of the most exciting projects within the Public sector. You should be confident in cost plans, contract administration, valuations and negotiating contracts.

The ideal candidate will be a Quantity Surveyor with Consultancy experience looking for their next step, or a Senior Quantity Surveyor who has recently been in the role looking for a new challenge. You will be reporting to the Directors and must be comfortable with working in and managing a team, whilst being committed to play an essential role within the organisation. Requirements

-          Previous experience within a Construction Consultancy

-          Strong Commercial expertise.

-          Proficient in Contract Management, Valuations and Feasibility studies.

-          Ability to confidently negotiate contract terms.

-          Experience in Public sector projects preferred.

-          Degree educated preferably BSC Hons/MA in Quantity Surveying or Project Management.

-          A full UK Driving license.

-          Chartership not essential but preferred.
